Sola Logs offer an ideal chewing and pecking option for older birds or those with beak difficulties, being softer than yucca or balsa wood. Their gentle texture caters to timid, non-aggressive birds that avoid tougher toys. Derived from the Shola or Sola Pith Plant (Aeschynomene Aspera), a lightweight flowering plant in the Fabaceae family, these logs have a cork-like texture and density comparable to polystyrene.
